Hello! My name is Erin Le Pera, and welcome to PRISMERE. I am an artist with a BFA in Graphic Design and certificate in Digital Photography who specializes in natural light portraiture.
Here's a little bit about me! c:
It may seem kinda funny, but sometimes, I wish I could actually live in a museum - surrounded by all the history, art and sculptures. Though in many ways, photos are the exhibition of our lives - in a museum of our own to share or hold close.
I believe that photos shape the world, they show us who we are and what matters. Part of my love for photography is exploring that through different genres and styles, venturing down endless avenues. Every shoot, every photo, is an exciting adventure.
Photography is something I am deeply passionate about. I find it beautiful, brave and wholly real. When you stand behind the camera, you are sharing a truth. That authenticity is important to me, and something I want to bottle within every photograph. Much like lightning, a quick flash that shoots out across the sky. Blink and you miss it. I think life can be that way too.
How better to commemorate our own lightning than with photographs?
That spark is striking and amazing, but also a little scary in its power! A camera captures a story in its purest form, which is why it can be daunting to face the lens as ourselves. In sessions, I will honor your story, ensuring you feel ready to share what you wish to say and remember in a picture.
And let’s not forget to have some fun in the process! My ethos is to keep you at ease and enjoy the experience of creating these special moments. I strive to create a welcoming, comfortable space where the best quality photos have the chance to shine. So whether it be to share who we are, transport ourselves through the craft of cosplay, or mark a moment in time worth celebrating, I am here to reflect it back for you to always treasure.
